Description
A Standard Leak Hole (Standard Calibration Leak) is a precision-drilled or micro-channel reference component used to verify the measurement accuracy and sensitivity of your leak test instruments. Without a calibrated leak reference, you cannot confirm that your tester is detecting what it claims to detect.
What It Does
Each Standard Leak Hole produces a stable, known, traceable leak rate under defined pressure conditions. When connected to your leak tester, it allows you to verify that the instrument responds correctly to a specific leak value — confirming the instrument is within calibration and that your test program thresholds are set correctly. This is a mandatory step in ISO- and IATF-compliant test line validation.
